Old School RuneScape (OSRS), an MMORPG name that buy OSRS gold launched almost two years ago, has closed a community poll which was voting on the implementation of"Partnerships." Essentially, Partnerships revolve around the concept that some new things and features would first become accessible to"Partners" of Old School RuneScape, prior to being published to the general population. This is not anything new, as last year the programmers of RuneScape"partnered" with Twitch to allow Prime members early entry to a new purple skin colour. They then allowed all players to utilize the pigment, once the promotional event had finished.

The RuneScape community did not like the concept back then, and they don't like it now. A subreddit dedicated to OSRS has contested the notion repeatedly. Many users are currently claiming that this brings the sport one step closer to having blown microtransactions.

Thankfully Jagex, OSRS's programmers, have said they won't include any new content without polling the community into the game. This is accomplished by an in-game voting booth where their virtual ballots can be cast by members. Due to this voting system, the majority of the community is pleased with any changes made to the game.

The survey was set to close on Monday the 8th, however ancient polling results were negative Jagex made a decision to close the booths early. The hatred around the subject forced them to leave the thought, although A formal statement from the company indicates that not only were the polls. They are disappointed that the neighborhood thought they'd do anything and state they were in no way trying to add microtransactions into the game.

They did that with Runescape 3. It supplies a subscription that adds hundreds of hours of runescape gold 2007 extra content, although OSRS is a name. The simple fact that any type of monetization was being discussed when the title already contains a subscription was the reason for such a backlash in the community.
