New York Giants: Expect a Great Year from Daniel Jones in 2020
« เมื่อ: 19/05/21, 11:44:25 »
Second-year quarterback Daniel Jones is in what some people might consider a tough position. The 2019 first-round pick is replacing New York Giants legend Eli Manning, who retired after the conclusion of last season. Jones also has a new head coach and offensive coordinator in Joe Judge and Jason Garrett, respectively. To get more Giants game jersey with cheap price, you can visit giantsnfl.com official website.

Despite the pressure and the changes to the coaching staff, though, there should be high expectations for Jones in his first full season at the helm of the Giants offense.

Perhaps the biggest reason for that optimism, outside of Jones’ talent, is the arrival of Garrett, the former Dallas Cowboys head coach. A former quarterback himself, he was one of the best available offensive coaches in terms of what he could potentially add to Jones’ development. He has the moxie to help mold Jones into the franchise quarterback fans are hoping he can be.
Garrett will be able to help Jones not only with his effectiveness in the passing attack but also the run game as well. The young signal-caller has some solid receivers at his disposal, including veterans Golden Tate and Sterling Sheperd and fellow second-year player Darius Slayton.

As a rookie, Jones showed some nice things after he took the starting job from Manning. He finished the year with 3,027 yards passing with 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions alongside a 61.9 percent completion rate and a quarterback rating of 87.7.With Garrett’s arrival and the experience garnered as a rookie, those numbers should only improve. The hope is that Garrett will help Jones better utilize his weapons, specifically running back Saquon Barkley both as a pass-catcher out of the backfield and establishing the run.

Meanwhile, Jones will also benefit from veteran Colt McCoy being signed this offseason, giving the youngster a solid mentor in the quarterback room. That’s another aspect that could help the Duke product develop in his second season.
